Canadian-based loungewear and rompers brand, Smash + Tess has teamed up with actress and entrepreneur Hilary Duff to design a range of chilled-out rompers and take on the brand’s best-selling Romperalls. Her new rompers in collaboration with Smash + Tess are adorable enough to wear out of the house, yet remain super comfy.
Being pregnant with her third child shaped how Duff approached the designs and her desires of bringing something creatively aesthetic in the market helped her in the plan.
“I was newly pregnant, so it was a joy to design a collection of clothes that I knew would look cute on me at the moment, and then grow with me throughout the pregnancy,” she says. “It’s not maternity, but it’s size-inclusive and looks cute on everyone’s figures,” Duff says rompers have been her hero piece throughout her pregnancy, and in the line, there’s a variety of styles to complement different aesthetics.

The collection is available from Feb. 23 and includes four kids rompers and four adult styles, two of which are available in different colours. The inspiration behind these rompers was to create a piece of clothing that looks sophisticated and is still comfortable enough to wear around the house, especially with so many working from home now. There was also a lot of thought put into the line’s size inclusivity with kid’s options varying from 3-6M to 12/13 and adult sizes XXS to XXXL which includes women’s sizes 0 to 26. The four adult styles comprise a traditional tank and shorts combo, overall pants, a muscle short-sleeve top with long pants, and a tank-pants design with a tie at the waist. Each adult romper also has a twinning kid’s style, so you and your mini can rock matching outfits.
